Refuge, what is the definition of finding Refuge?
Refuge is a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.
I would be infatuated to meditate on those three words. Pursuit, Danger, and Trouble.
Every single one of us is running from the enemy. He is in Pursuit of our hearts, minds, and souls, and each one of us to an extent is doing exactly what he wants. If you think about how people that get into trouble with the law run, they genuinely have no refuge. Most of them end up behind bars. BUT we as his children should not fear bars, or pursuit. We all sin, instead of attempting to find Refuge in temporal illusions. Let us find it in OUR Heavenly Father. We can take our worst crimes to him, and he will do nothing less but hold us in tenderness.
The Enemy puts us in Danger in the world, in the hope that our Faith will deplete. He gives us these illusions of “Giant” or “Goliath” situations in our lives. The more we dash to find Refuge in OUR Heavenly Father, the more we see the strength he has blessed us with as his children.” I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me”. Once we are made aware of our strength, the enemy is defeated. Lastly, Trouble. What does the WORLD define as “trouble”? It is defined as a problem. But are they really problems? or are they ways that OUR Heavenly Father is pleading us to come to him. “For this light momentary affliction is preparing us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison”- 2 Corinthians 4:17
“ He who dwells in in the shelter of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, My God in whom I trust”
-Psalm 91
